THE IMPORTANCE OF FITNESS IN STUDENT’S LIFE
Being physically active is important especially among today’s younger generation who are busy enjoying the luxuries of gadgets, video games, netflix at an alarming rate and aren’t active and spirited on a daily basis. To enjoy the peace of life and to experience it, you must start getting involved in physical activities.
Being physically fit doesn’t necessarily require a particular schedule of workout. If you want to fit for a lifetime, lay stress on the given points:

1. Exercise Controls Weight
Exercise can help prevent excess weight gain. When you pursue physical activities, you burn calories. To gain the benefits of exercise, be more active throughout your day. Take the stairs instead of the elevator whenever there is an option. Consistency is key.

2. Exercise can be Fun and Social
Exercise and physical activity can be enjoyable. They give you an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors or simply engage in activities that make you happy. Take dance classes, join sports institutes. Find a physical activity you indulge in, and just do it. Try something new when you get time.

3. Increased Confidence, Tolerance to Stress, and Relaxation
When you’re in shape and confident, tasks become much easier to accomplish. When you build muscle and enhance your flexibility, you’re creating a body that can manage higher levels of stress without noticing a difference.
Stretching your muscles helps to relieve tension, and this can be a blessing at the end of a busy workday. A little stretching or yoga can work wonders to put on a peaceful smile on your face and help you feel poised.

4. Brain Benefits
Exercise also has incredible benefits for the brain, and these manifest as the ability to think faster and more sharply, to resolve problems more efficiently, and to be more creative and spontaneous. Imagine enhancing your productivity while simultaneously minimizing stress and tension! That is something we all need.

5. Exercise Improves Muscle Strength
Staying active keeps muscles strong and joints, tendons and ligaments flexible, allowing you to move with ease and avoid injuries. Strong muscles and ligaments lessen the chances of joint and lower back pain by keeping the joints in proper alignment. They also improve coordination and balance.

6. Exercise Enhances Your Immune System
Exercise improves your body’s ability to pump the oxygen and nutrients around your body that are required to fuel the cells that fight bacteria and viruses. Staying active reduces the likelihood of developing some degenerative bone diseases
